Kaye Bentley founded Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours in 2018 after experiencing the captivating views of Asheville from rooftops across the city. Inspired by her love of Asheville’s Art Deco architecture, she created a tour that blends breathtaking bird’s-eye views with the city’s rich history—all while enjoying food and drinks from Asheville’s highly acclaimed rooftop bars.

In 2020, the Carolina Small Business Development Fund recognized Kaye as the Entrepreneur of the Year for her work with Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours. Kaye also earned the 2019 Creativity in Business Award presented by the Western Women's Business Center. KNOW Asheville also named Kaye on their list "On the Rise…Women to Watch.”
Kaye is a proud graduate of Appalachian State University. She worked as a rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 38 years before founding Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours.
