Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours Voted Best Tour in Asheville for 2026
Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours has been named Best Tour in the 2026 Best of Asheville awards, earning the top honor in a community-wide competition that drew more than 255,000 votes.
The 2026 Best of Asheville winners were announced September 23 following an open nomination period and public voting. This year, 1,834 businesses, organizations, people, and places were nominated across Asheville and Western North Carolina, with 394 winners ultimately recognized.
Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours owner Ron Wagner was presented with the company’s Best of Asheville Winners Certificate on September 23 during Asheville Media Group’s Celebration of Winners party at Haiku.
Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours owner Ron Wagner said being voted Best Tour in Asheville is especially meaningful because the award comes directly from the community almost exactly two years after Tropical Storm Helene forced the company to suspend operations for nine months and nearly led to it being shut down permanently.
“We’re incredibly honored to receive this recognition,” Wagner said. “Asheville has so many outstanding tours and experiences, so being chosen by the people who live here and visit our community means a great deal to us. We’re grateful to everyone who voted, to our amazing guides, to our rooftop partners, and especially to the guests who allow us to share Asheville with them from a completely different perspective.”
Founded in 2018, Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours offers guided experiences that combine some of the city’s most distinctive rooftop venues with complimentary featured tour cocktails or mocktails, reserved seating, Blue Ridge Mountain and skyline views, and stories about Asheville’s history, architecture, and culture.
The recognition comes during an exciting period of growth for the company. In addition to its signature downtown rooftop experiences, Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours recently introduced its South Slope Rooftop Tour, which explores the city’s world-famous craft beer scene, creative culture, and the industrial history of one of Asheville’s most distinctive neighborhoods.
The Best of Asheville awards are presented by Asheville Media Group in partnership with Lusso Realty. The Gold recognition was the first for Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours after the company previously earned Silver in the Best Tour category three times.
